Delphine Regina Miggett Sharp, 50 CAMBRIDGE - Delphine Regina Miggett Sharp, departed this life on Tuesday, July 29, 2008. She was 50. She was born June 2, 1958, in Cambridge, daughter of the late Harold Miggett and Avonderine Johnson Stanley. Delphine attended the public schools in Dorchester County and was a member of the Class of 1976. She held employment with Mallard Bay Care Center, William Hill Manor and Glasgow Nursing Home until her health failed. Delphine was known by her family and friends as a very special person. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Winfield and Anna Johnson, uncles, aunts and cousins. She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Benjamin Lamont Robinson of Cambridge; two grandsons, Dion Addison Robinson and Malik Addison of Hurlock; a brother, Carnell (Joyce) Johnson of Rhodesdale; two sisters, Anna (Jimmy) Dixon and Vernice (Forney) Wongus, all of Cambridge; two uncles, Emerson (Eloise) Johnson of Cambridge, and Edward (Louise) Johnson of New Brunswick, N.J.; two aunts, Bernice (Gene) Pinkett of Cambridge, and Norma Lee Young of New Brunswick; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives; special friends, Delores Diaz, Gwen Sharp, Yolanda Palmore and many other special friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Bethel AME Church, 623 Pine St., Cambridge, with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in Crossroads Cemetery, Vienna.
