CAMBRIDGE - Delema Alberta Young Ames passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at Univ. MD Shore Medical Center at Dorchester in Cambridge, Md. She is survived by the Reverend Dr. George R. Ames Jr.; her husband of 45 years; her children; Patrick (Crystal), Cambridge, Md., Starlene Ames (Glen Burnie, Md.), George III (Rogette), Cambridge, Md., Craig (Myra), Seaford, Del., Michael (Mia), Baltimore, Md.; grandchildren, Lutisha Bailey, Keontre Thomas, Shakeia Young, Zion Woolford, Patrice Young, Makayla Hovington, Malik Leatherberry, Jawana Stanley, Danyel Stanley, Nykia Ames, George Ames 4th, LaTeasha Macer, TaBar Ames and Diamond Thomas; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother in-law, Willie Ames (Brenda), Crisfield, Md. and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Sat., January 17th 11am at Bethel AME Church 623 Pine St Cambridge with a viewing two hours prior. Interment Veterans Cemetery Hurlock Tues., Jan. 20th 12 noon.
