Deborah E. Ashby

CRISFIELD - Deborah E. Ashby, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at her home. Formerly of Baltimore she has been a resident here since 2012.
Born in Riverdale, she was the daughter of the late Edward Welch and Mary Ann Dyes Welch. She was a retired nurses assistant.
Deborah volunteered at the McCready Health and the Corbin Library in Crisfield.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel E. Ashby; two sons, Daniel E. Ashby, Jr. of Bel Air and David Ashby of Crisfield; two daughters, Michelle Phillips (Buzz) of Price and Trisha Orend (Scott) of Coco Beach, Fla. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Welch.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Donations in her memory may be made to ALS Association, Maryland Chapter, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855.
