BALTIMORE -- Darnell Cornelius Cain, son of Jacqueline and Early Cain Sr., passed away on Monday, Feb. 19, 2007 at his home in Baltimore.
He was born Sept. 8, 1969 in Cambridge and attended the public schools in Dorchester County. While being raised in Petersburg, he attended Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Bishop Chester Friend.
At the time of his death he worked in the construction business in Baltimore.
In 2002, he was joined in marriage to Linda Cain of Bridgeville, Del.
He is survived by a son, Devon Cain of Annapolis; two brothers, Early Jr. and Andre Cain both of Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Depina Cain of Cordova; several aunts and uncles, Floyd and Betty Cain of East New Market, Cedric and Rita Cain of Cambridge, Reginald and Vernetta Conaway of Federalsburg, Gregory and Sherita Conaway of Mardela, Carolyn and Bradford Bolden of Easton, Teresa Conaway of Vienna, Cheryl and Charles Copper of Easton, and Althia and Dietrich Gaskins of Cambridge; several nieces and nephews, Monica Quailes, Cierra, Zharia, Kameelah and Caleria Cain, Andre Woolford, Diante" Brown and Domonique Coby, JaQuan, Tony and Immanuel Cain; a great-niece, MiAsia Greene.
Services will be today, at 1 p.m. at Faith Community UM Church with the Rev. Jonathan Whitney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
There will be a viewing one hour prior to the services.
