CRISFIELD — To celebrate International Dark Sky Week Janes Island State Park welcomes stargazers 8 p.m. Saturday, April 18 to view the planets and stars from the back lot of the park marina parking lot.
Learn about how the park and you can become dark sky friendly during this free event.
Dark Sky Week is April 13-20. Telescopes will be provided and there will be guidance for viewing. The park is located at 26280 Alfred J. Lawson Drive, call 410-968-1565 for more information. The event will be canceled in the event of inclement weather or significant cloud cover.
