Darin Lavar Murray

CRISFIELD – Darin LaVar Murray, 23, departed this life Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008.

Darin is the son of Helen Sutton Murray of Crisfield and the late George Andrew Murray III. He is the maternal grandson of Pastor Dorothy Holden of Crisfield and paternal grandson of Edith G. Murray of Trappe, MD. He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers, Devin Murray of Crisfield and Timothy L. Murray of Church Creek, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Darin was educated in the Somerset County Public School system. He furthered his education at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where he enrolled in the criminal justice program. At the time of his demise, he was employed as Correctional Officer II at the Eastern Correctional Institution. He was previously employed by the Holt Paper and Chemical Co. in Salisbury.

Darin was a member of the Highway Holiness Church in Hopewell. Darin had a love for video games, dirt bikes and chauffeuring his grandmother.

The eulogy was at 1 p.m. Saturday at Crisfield High School in Crisfield. Internment was held in Mt. Peer Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Anthony E. Ward Funeral Home in Crisfield.
