GALESTOWN - Dale H. Leve, 69, died Dec.16, 2007 at the Coastal Hospice At the Lake in Salisbury. She was born Oct. 26, 1938 in Wilmington, Del. and was the daughter of the late John Taylor Hessler and Charlotte Croissant Campbell.

She was a former member of the Fork District Homemakes Club. When living in Delaware, Mrs.Leve sang in the choir at the Presbyterian Church in Smyrna.

She worked as a librarian for Hurlock Elementary School for many years, retiring in 2002. She was an avid horse woman and loved spending time with family, grandsons and friends.

She is survived by one son, Daniel E. Leve and his wife, Mary of Federalsburg; two grandsons, Nate and Seth Leve of Federalsburg; one sister, Charlotte Thomas of Hartley, Del.; her stepfather, Dr. R. Wells Campbell of Smyrna and three nephews.

Friends may call on Dec. 18, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2007 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Secretary with the Rev. Anthony Greco officiating.

Burial will follow in Unity Washington Cemetery in Hurlock. Donations made be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O.Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
