HARRISBURG, Pa. - Curtis Jenkins Jr., passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at the hospital in Harrisburg.

He was born Nov. 2, 1943, in Dorchester County, Md., son of the late Curtis and Ruby Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins attended Jonestown Elementary School in Preston and Lockerman High in Denton. At a early age he joined John's United Methodist Church.

He joined the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge.

Mr. Jenkins held various jobs including General Foods in Dover, Del., and Conrail Railroad in Harrisburg, where he has resided for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by a lifelong companion, Diane Waters of Harrisburg.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by one son, Reginald of Dover, and several children he helped raise; three sisters, Violeece (Charles) Jones and Delores Jenkins of Hurlock, Ann Roberts of Cambridge; three brothers, Robert (Beatrice) Jenkins of Federalsburg, Jerome and Dennis Jenkins of Harrisburg; three aunts, Dorothy Fletcher of Hurlock, Rosetta Johns of Preston and Marjorie Johns of Harrisburg;\ and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Hooper's Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Pa.
