Collision at Food Lion parking lot leads to DUI arrest

PRINCESS ANNE —Princess Anne Police Chief Tim Bozman reports the arrest of Gail Ann White, 58, of Parsonsburg for driving under the influence of alcohol.

 

The arrest on Sunday, Jan. 17 stemmed from a motor vehicle crash investigation that occurred in the Princess Anne Food Lion parking lot, located at 12158 Brittingham Lane.

 

White was found to be the driver of the at-fault vehicle in the crash where she collided with a parked vehicle as she was attempting to park her vehicle in a parking space. White was charged with failure to control speed to avoid collision, driving vehicle while so far impaired by drugs and alcohol that she could not drive safely, driving a vehicle while impaired by alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol per se, and driving while under the influence of alcohol.

 

White was released from custody upon being issued her citations.
