CAMBRIDGE - Clara B. Neall, 87, passed away on Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 at Dorchester General Hospital.
She was born in Clearfield, Pa. on Nov. 2, 1919 and was a daughter of the late Henry and Nora Wallace Bonnett.
Mrs. Neall graduated from Washington High School in Princess Anne in 1936. In 1943 she married George M. Neall II.
Mrs. Neall was a forelady at DuPont in Seaford, Del. during World War II and during the Korean War she worked for American News in Salisbury. For a number of years, she worked as a secretary for Surfs-Shield. Later she was a homemaker.
Some of her hobbies were photography, gardening, collecting seashells, knitting, traveling and crocheting.
Mrs. Neall was a member of Jehovah"s Witnesses in Cambridge and in Springfield, Va. for 52 years.
Mrs. Neall is survived by her husband of Cambridge; a son, George M. Neall III and wife, Lisa of Chantilly, Va.; a daughter, Carol Quick and husband, Robert of Cambridge; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Brown and Pearl Hoffman, both of Salisbury and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions can be made to the local congregation of Jehovah"s Witnesses, 2616 Cambridge Beltway, Cambridge, MD 21613.
