Christine Rose Koski, 92

CAMBRIDGE - Christine Rose Koski, formerly of East New Market, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, in Chesapeake Woods in Cambridge. She was 92. Born in Secretary on May 30, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Frank Leo Koski and Stella Rose Wielgosz Koski. She worked for several years at American Can Company in Cambridge; she later worked on the family farm and cared for her parents. In later years, she cared for patients from the Maryland State Hospital in her home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Wielgosz, Buddy Koski, and Louis Koski Sr; one niece, Becky Rumbley; two nephews, F. Gene Koski and Edward L. Koski; two great-nephews, Tom Tom Rumbley and Jestin Koski. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Shirley Koski of Secretary; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Secretary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2008 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Secretary. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008 at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market. John Foxwell Jr., Greg Koski, Howard Rumbley, Richard Koski, Louis Koski Jr. and Howie Rumbley will serve as pallbearers. Donations in memory of Miss Koski may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, P.O. Box 279, Secretary, MD 21664.
