SALISBURY - Charles "Rich" Young died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake.
Born in Newark, N.J., he was the son of the late Charles and Julia Young. He graduated from East Side High School in Newark and became a Journeyman with the International Brothers of Electrical Workers, where he was a faithful member for over 50 years. He was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic parish in Salisbury.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan Young of Salisbury; three sons, Richard Bigelow of Summit, N.J., Matthew Young of Pittsville and Jeffrey Young, who lives in Taiwan; and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Young.
A Catholic Prayer Service was held Friday, March 2, 2018, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
