Carolyn T. Greenwood

SALISBURY - Carolyn T. Greenwood died Wednesday, Mar. 29, 2017, with her family by her side. Born in Wilmington, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Henry M. and Ida Mae Jackson Tiencken.
After graduating from the Washington School for Secretaries, she worked at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., during World War II. After moving to Salisbury in 2001, she became a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Leroy G. Greenwood; and her brother, Henry M. Tiencken, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolee Greenwood, of Salisbury; two grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.
A celebration of life service was held Friday, Apr. 7, 2017, at Christ United Methodist Church in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
