C.J. Willey, 33

TEXAS CITY, Texas - C.J. Willey, 33, of Texas City, passed away on Aug. 15, 2009. He was born on June 14, 1976, in Maryland. He graduated from Cambridge, South Dorchester High School in 1994. He service in the U.S. Army with a tour in Bosnia. He was a resident of Galveston County. He was preceded in death by Charles "Pop-Pop" McCord. He is survived by his wife, Lacy; son, Brent; daughter, Addison; mother, Tammy McCord Willey; father, Dexter Willey; sister, Melissa Willey of East New Market, Md.; maternal grandparents, Bob and Hilda Zbock of Corpus Christi, Texas; paternal grandparents, Eldridge and Verna Willey of Cambridge, Md.; father and mother-in-law, John and Brenda Davidson; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Kimberly Wilson, and Jarrod and Tiffany Quinn; nephews and nieces, Karon, Scotlyn, Taylor, and Reed; along with numerous family and friends. A memorial service was held Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson, Texas. A memorial service will also be 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29, at Grace Church in Cambridge, Md., followed by a celebration of his life at a place to be announced. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund for C.J. Willey, care of, Texas First Bank, 4070 Oak St., La Marque, TX 77568.
