C. Brinsfield Lowe, 86
C. Brinsfield Lowe of Rhodesdale, passed peacfully March 25, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. Born June 11, 1937, in Eldorado, he was the son of the late Clarence C. Lowe and Ruth Brinsfield Lowe.
He was a 1955 graduate of North Dorchester High School. After graduation, he went to work for Dupont and worked there until 1974, when he went to work at the family farm due to his father in law's illness.
He was a member of Maryland Farm Bureau, Dorchester Farm Bureau, Sharptown Lions Club, Asbury United Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of Eldorado-Brookview Volunteer Fire Department with seventy years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Wheatley Lowe; two daughters, Nancy L. Flurer (Brian) of Quantico and Carol L. Malchow (Will) of Rhodesdale; four grandchildren, Bill Malchow (Brittany), David Flurer (Jessi), Jenny Klink (Andrew), and Michael Flurer; two greatgrandchildren, Graycen and Emersyn Malchow and a third greatgrandchild on the way.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles W. Lowe; and a half-sister, Kathryn McDowell.
Friends called Monday, April 1, 2024 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Asbury United Methodist Church in Sharptown. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the church with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Pastor David Bennett officiated. Interment follow in Eldorado Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 585, Sharptown MD 21869, Coastal Hospice, P. O. Box 1733, Salisbury MD 21802 or to Eldorado Brookview Volunteer Fire Department, 5752 Rhodesdale Eldorado Road, Rhodesdale MD 21659.
Arrangements are in the care of Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market.
