PRINCESS ANNE - Brooklyn Nicole Riggin, newborn daughter of William Mark and Amy Lynn Shanks Riggin, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandfather, W. Edwin Riggin III of Crisfield, maternal grandparents, William Raymond Shanks and his wife JoEllen, both of Marion, aunts and uncles Billy Shanks, Lew Shanks, Marvin Shanks, Timmy Linton, Donna Cullen, Bobbi Tyler, Katherine Haase, cousins Ashley Haase, Meg Haase and many other cousins, special aunt and friends Crystal Willing and Tammy Conquest.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Marilyn S. Riggin, maternal grandmother Dorothy M. Lonsway and an aunt Jodi K. Cooper.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church in Crisfield. Pastor Jeff James and Pastor Steve Willing will officiate.
Interment will be at Sunnyridge Cemetery in Crisfield.
Contributions may be made in her memory to Asbury United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, c/o Beth Clough, 9 Heron Way, Crisfield, MD 21817.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
