PITTSVILLE - Brenda Gordy Coffin, 73, of Pittsville died Thursday, July 16, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. Born July 30, 1941, she was raised by her grandparents, Clarence and Annie Gordy. She worked at Pittsville Diner for 30 years. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Bruce Coffin; a son, William "Bill" Bradford; daughters, Patti Bradford and Tammy Bowers; five grandchildren; a sister, Pat Collins; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bette Bradford. A funeral service was held at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment followed in Pittsville Cemetery.
