SNOW HILL - The   19th   Annual Blessing of the Combines – an event which honors and thanks the agricultural community - kicks off on  Saturday, August 5th  between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm in downtown Snow Hill, Md.

A Parade of Combines (including an antique fire truck, tractors, lawn mowers and floats) crosses  the Pocomoke River Bridge and maneuvers  to stop on Green Street, followed by a loud “throttle thrust” as the engines are cut.    Opening Ceremonies take place at the Performance Stage, which hosts The Route 50 Band and The Spence Baptist Praise Band.

Vendors and restaurants offer great local and festival foods.  A stroll along Vendors and Crafters Row leads to the Pocomoke River -  and an Antique Car Show.  Exhibits line Green Street – and activities for children:    Farm Animals,  The Barnyard (tractor, clown, corn pit, maze, games),  Hay Wagon and Pony Rides.  Festival T-Shirts provide memories.

Parking is clearly marked, and a shuttle runs from Byrd Park to the event.
