PITTSVILLE - Blaine A. Cheesman, 10, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children.

Born in Salisbury he was the son of Amy L. Disharoon Cheesman of Pittsville and Richard A. Cheesman of Federalsburg.

Blaine attended Pittsville Elementary School and played Little League in Willards. He was a John Deere collector, loved Dale Earnhart Jr., and was a true Orioles fan.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, Brady Cheesman; maternal grandmother, Grace Disharoon; aunts and uncles, Donna and Everett LeCates, Sherrie and David Howard, Marty and April Cheesman, and Terry and Lisa Cheesman, and eight cousins, Eddie, Derrek, and Devin Frantum, Bobby and Mark Howard, and Garver, Ashley, and Travis Cheesman.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, G. Lee Disharoon and paternal grandparents, Albert and Shirley Cheesman.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pittsville Fire Department where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Pittsville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Frantum, Derreck Frantum, Bobby Howard, Mark Howard and Garver Cheesman.

Arrangements are being handled by the staff of Bounds Funeral Home.
