MARION STATION - Billie Rae Webb passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at Coastal Hospice, Lakeside in Salisbury.
Born in Crisfield she was the daughter of the late Murphy and Ruth Taylor Keyser. She is survived by ten children: Roxanne, Charles Jr. (Chuck), Patrick, Robert, Nancy, Kathy, Thomas, Daniel, Barbara and Amy. She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, her very close and loving brother, Ronnie, and many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Webb, Sr.; and son, David J. Webb.
She was a very beautiful, strong, determined and independent woman that truly honored the Lord in every way. She believed in the value and honor of a good day's work, sometimes holding down more than one job while being a devoted mother, grandmother or any one of the many hats she would wear. Generous to a fault, she gave without expectation of a return, her only request was respect and kindness. With a household of 11 children she relied simply on faith for her every day responsibilities, teaching love, respect and honor in every way possible. Being a God-fearing woman, there is no doubt that she is in better hands now, but she will surely be missed by all.
Even in death she continues to give as she requested her body be donated to science so that hopefully a cure or treatment is found for Dementia. Therefore, a memorial is planned and will be announced at a later date. To continue her gift of always giving in love, please consider a donation in her name (monetary and/or non-perishable food and pantry items) to Coastal Hospice Lakeside of Salisbury, MD and or the Alzheimers/Dementia association.
"We shall meet, but we shall miss her
There will be one vacant chair
We shall linger to caress her
While we breathe our evening prayer"
