SALISBURY - Beverly Daugherty, 84, of Salisbury, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at her home with her loving daughters by her side. Born in Nashville, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Ed and Pearl Squyars. From the age of 15 until she was 70, she worked in various retail positions until she retired from Rite Aid. She attended Ayres United Methodist Church in Pittsville. She is survived by her children, Patricia Daugherty of Reston, Va., Cynthia Daugherty of Hebron; and a brother, William E. Squyars of Jacksonville, Fla. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hamilton Daugherty; son, Jeffrey Daugherty; and sister, Wilma Davis. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment followed at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
