Beverly B. Hamill, 83
SALISBURY - Beverly B. Hamill of Salisbury, Maryland passed away on July 2, 2022. Born in Rouyn-Noranda Quebec, she was the daughter of the late George and Gabrielle Wingrove.
She graduated from McKellar General Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Thunder Bay Ontario. Professionally, Bev worked in Toronto and Hawaii until moving to Salisbury, Maryland. Once in Salisbury, Bev worked at TidalHealth formerly known as Peninsula General Hospital and The Wicomico County Board of Education until her retirement.
Growing up in Ontario, Bev enjoyed many winter sports, especially ice skating. In the warmer months she delighted in gardening and nature walks with her family. She was an avid golfer and skier. She and her husband Bob enjoyed many ski trips to Vermont, Colorado and several other western resorts. If they weren't skiing, they were decorating together and entertaining their friends. They had a lot of fond memories taking cruises and dancing; if there was a dance floor, they were on it! Bev also cherished spending time with her grandchildren; going swimming and trips to the beaches. She also looked forward to her luncheons with her friends and talking about their nursing days.
Bev is survived by daughter, Kim Graham (Kevin Fallon) of Salisbury, MD; son, Shawn Hamill (Holly) of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Connor Hamill and Kate Hamill; sister, George-Ann Wingrove; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents; Bev was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert (Bob) Hamill; and sisters, Deanna Wingrove and Bonnie Potter.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury MD 21804. A visitation will be held one hour prior. For those that cannot attend the service will be livestreamed on her obituary at www.HollowayFH.com.
