SALISBURY - Bertha A. "Bert" Strachan died at Coastal Hospice At The Lake on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018.Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late John Morgan Lambdin Sr. and Mary Fairbank Lambdin. She retired after several years of service at Giant Food in Salisbury and also had a wonderful career in social work with the Wicomico County Department of Social Services. She had attended Faith Baptist Church in Delmar for the past ten years. She was a longtime member of the Salisbury Metro Lions Club. She is survived by her children, Michael O'Shea Dulin, Pamela Gail Wintjen and J.T. Strachan; and six grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John M. "Jerry" Lambdin. A graveside service was held Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at St. Stephen's Cemetery in Delmar. A memorial service will also be held on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at 6 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Delmar. Arrangements are being handled by Short Funeral Home of Delmar.
