CRISFIELD — Robyn Benton, RN, was selected a recipient of McCready’s PEARLS recognition program. PEARLS is an acronym for ‘Promoting Excellence And Recognizing Legendary Service’. Benton received two nominations for her leadership and assistance with the new Centriq computer program and for her exceptional care to a recent patient and their spouse. She has been a McCready associate for 15 years.
She was presented a framed certificate, a gift certificate and will be eligible for the PEARLS of the year award. Her name will also be added to the engraved plaque in the hospital honoring all monthly PEARLS. Fourteen other associates and one group were also nominated for this month’s award: Linda Abbott, Lula Ames, Susan Barker, Frank Goldman, Wayne Horsey, Sue Iseman, Tom Kerchner, Wanda Marshall, Jenny Russell, Helen Somers, Mary Ann Taylor, Mary Lou Taylor, Roberta Walter, Lucila “CeCe” Kelly, and the team of Marvelous, Frantz, Matt, Renee, Angela (Med. Surg staff).
The PEARLS program recognizes McCready’s employees and volunteers. Any family member, patient, resident, or associate can complete a PEARLS card and share their compliments or suggestions.
