SALISBURY - Benjamin Alan Shores died Monday, April 4, 2016. Born in Salisbury, he was a son of the late William Sigsbee Shores and Sadie Frances Downs Shores. He attended the Teen Adult Center in Salisbury for a few years in his younger days. He was a faithful member of Lighthouse Faith Holiness Church in Salisbury. He loved his family, his stuffed animals that played music, and had a special fondness for babies. He had an ear for music and loved to dance. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Belle West of Nanticoke and Donna Shores Huntington of Salisbury; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Barbara A. Shores Jones, Anna Rebecca Shores, Aileene Shores Lewis, and Shirley Mae Shores; and a brother, William Shores, Jr. A funeral service was held Friday, April 8, 2016, at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Interment followed in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
