Barry E. Lofland, 56

HEBRON - Barry E. Lofland, of Hebron, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, in Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. He was 56. Barry was born on Jan. 24, 1953, in Seaford, Del., and was the son of the late Charles and Virginia Hastings Lofland. Barry worked at Willards Dash-In as a clerk for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and soon to be great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Linda Gray Lofland of Hebron; a son, Ben Lofland and his wife Kelly of Salisbury; daughters, Jaime Harrison and her husband Matt, of Mardela Springs, Janice Jump and her husband John of Delmar, Donna Baer and her husband Rob, of Salisbury; sisters and brothers, Larry and Alfred Lofland and John Moore, Pearl Lauck and Mary Anne Cheezum; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson on the way. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Jones and Evelyn Thousand and; a brother, Howard Lofland. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made in his memory to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Rd. Salisbury, MD 21804.
