LeCompte FOLSOM, Pa. - Barbara Rebecca LeCompte, formerly of Folsom, Pa., died on November 4, 2014 in Manchaca, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Linwood and Blanche LeCompte and the sister of the late Shirley LeCompte Cochran. Ms. LeCompte was a graduate of Ridley (Township) High School, class of 1951. She attended Temple University and completed her degree at R.C.C. in Rockland County, N.Y. She graduated proudly with a 4.0 average as a Registered Nurse. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Brehl Snavely of Richmond, Va. and Shirley Brehl Hartmann of Manchaca, Texas. She is also survived by her son-in-laws, George Hartmann and Mike Snavely; four grandchildren, Rachel McCabe, Leanna Crews, Adam Hartmann, and Victoria Hartmann; and her two great granddaughters, Peyton Crews, and Carrington McCabe. A private service will be held on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for the scattering of her ashes. She was loved by many for her devotion to family, loyalty to her friends, and her nurturing skills as a nurse. Her family misses her and she will be treasured forever. Her legacy of being the best mom and grandmother will be passed on through us and her future family members.
