PRINCESS ANNE — The Art Shell UMES Invitational gets underway June 10 with an 8 a.m. tee off at Great Hope Golf Course in Westover, Md.  Local golfers can join the pro football Hall of Famer and UMES alumnus in raising funds for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s athletic and PGA Golf Management programs.

Registration, which includes a pre-game mixer, 18 holes of golf with a sports celebrity, food on the course, give-a-ways and an awards banquet, is $200 per person and $750 for a foursome.  Tickets are also available to the public for the “Night in Havana” mixer June 9 at 6 p.m. in the Student Services Center on campus for $35 per person.
