FBC--T25-LSU-KIFFIN MANIA
DESCRIPTION: Lane Kiffin’s cockiness and proven ability to win in the SEC are playing quite well in LSU country. The spiking cost to get into Tiger Stadium in 2026 is but one symptom of a palpable surge in energy and optimism emanating from the state capital into the swamps, bayous, cane fields and other communities across Louisiana — largely because of a brash and notoriously unfiltered coach whom Tiger fans were once quick to ridicule, but see as a savior now. A robot sprinter shatters a 100-meter record again as sparks fly at China’s robot competition
SUMMARY: A robot sprinter has broken another 100-meter record at China’s World Humanoid Robot Games. That broke a record for the second consecutive day. Several robots crashed into a padded barrier after crossing the finish line. And sparks flew from some as staff rushed in with fire extinguishers. GLF--GOGEL SUSPENDED
Gogel suspended 6 months for betting on golf tournaments he wasn’t playing
SUMMARY: Matt Gogel faces a six-month suspension for betting on golf tournaments he wasn’t playing. That violates the PGA Tour’s integrity program. The 55-year-old Gogel says it was an honest mistake. Gogel says he placed small, recreational bets in 2024 and 2025. But he says he never wagered on PGA Tour regular events or PGA Tour Champions events. That would suggest it was the majors. Gogel can return Feb. 22. He’s best remembered for losing a big lead at Pebble Beach in 2000 when Tiger Woods stormed from behind. Gogel won at Pebble two years later for his only tour title.
