MVP Matthew Stafford says star-studded Rams have “a high ceiling” for climb toward a Super Bowl run

Stafford is coming off arguably the best season of his long career after throwing for 4,707 yards.

GLF--GLOVER-SHOES OFF

Lucas Glover removes shoes at 3M after complaints about spike marks on the greens

SUMMARY: When Lucas Glover removed his shoes to retrieve his ball after a birdie putt in the final round of the 3M Open, TV commentators speculated it was in protest of the AimPoint green-reading system used by many PGA Tour players. Turns out, he went shoeless for another reason: to prevent his metal spikes from making marks on the greens after hearing a complaint from a tournament official. Fellow player Michael Kim said several players had complained about spike marks on the greens, thinking it was Glover. After hearing the complaint from a rules official, the 2009 U.S. Open made sure there were no spike marks by retrieving the ball in his socks after sinking a birdie putt on the 10th hole.
