SALISBURY - Anne Winters Hopkins died Thursday, Jun. 1, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late John C. Winters and Mary Tilghman Ford.
She was a caseworker for the state of Maryland and was active in the Ladies Group, where she made many costumes as well as wrote skits until her retirement. She attended New Life Apostolic Church.
She is survived by her children, Sandra L. Hopkins Crowley, of Bradenton, Fla., Lloyd C. Hopkins III, of Eden and Mary L. Hopkins Spann, of Salisbury; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John T. Winters.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, Jun. 6, 2017, at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was in Wicomico Memorial Park.
