Anna Mohr

DELMAR - Anna Mohr, 90, of Delmar, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at her daughter's home in Willards. Born to German parents in Romania, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Magdalene Dormuth. She and her family spent five years in a refugee camp at the end of World War II, fleeing from the Soviet Union, prior to coming to the United States in 1950. She and her husband grew chickens for Perdue for 52 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Karl Mohr and a daughter, Anna Mohr Steinacker. She is survived by four children, Richard Mohr, Peter Mohr, Rose Manning and Josef Mohr; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held Friday at 3C-USA in Delmar; burial was in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
