Anna Cassandra Robbins Dunn

CAMBRIDGE - Anna Cassandra Robbins Dunn, 97, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She had been a resident of the facility since 1983.

Mrs. Dunn was born on Dec. 11, 1910 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Richard J. and Aida Tyler Robbins.

She was a homemaker and worked for many years as a seamstress at the Rob Roy sewing factory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A. Granville Dunn; her sisters: Oneita R. Truax of Cambridge, Emma R. Eby of Thurmont, Stella Robbins of Cambridge and two brothers, Calvin Robbins and Clifford Robbins, both from Cambridge.

She is survived by a son, A. Granville Dunn Jr. from California and a sister, Hilda R. Bryan, formerly of Secretary and now Seaford, Del. Her nieces and nephews include: Wanda Ciekot, Donna Bramble and Dick Robbins, all from Cambridge, Barbara Landon of Chestertown, Beverly Blades of Seaford, Del., Larry Eby of Fairfield, Pa. and Marylin Rahnis of Whitehall.

Graveside services and burial will be 1 p.m. Friday at Greenlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Eby will officiate the service.

Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
