Ann Harrington Sturgis, formerly of Cambridge died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at The Pines, Easton.

Surviving is her daughter, Kim Cohee and her husband, Stewart of Preston; a grandson, Benjamin Cohee, also Preston; two step-children, Shane Cohee of Preston and Seth Cohee of Denton; a niece, Winnie Sewell of Annapolis; a nephew, Edward Nabb Jr. and his wife, Betty of Cambridge and a great-niece, Meredith Nabb of Annapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson Harrington Jr. and Winifred Davis Harrington; her husband, Jack Surgis and her sister, Winifred Nabb.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A., in Cambridge.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church, Church and High Street, Cambridge. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. Michael D. Reddig, rector. Burial will follow in the adjoining graveyard.

As a retired educator, Mrs. Sturgis' request was to have expressions of sympathy made in lieu of flowers to assist children in education to The Judy Hoyer Center, 1405 Glasgow St., Cambridge, MD 21613.
