SALISBURY - Ann Fisher Brown died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016. Born in Huntington, Pa., she graduated from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa., with a degree in psychology. She and her late husband founded Charles Brown Glass Co. in Salisbury, where she served as vice president until her retirement in 1990. A member of Asbury United Methodist Church since 1963, she was active in the church community, serving on the Altar Guild and as president of the Opportunity Shop. She was a member of the Thursday afternoon bowling league and was a proud "Daisy" for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, G. Donald and Sarah Fisher of Huntington, Pa.; and her husband of 60 years, Charles L. Brown. She is survived by a brother, Don Fisher of Las Vegas; a daughter, Catherine Brown of Salisbury; a son, Charles Brown Jr. of Berlin; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A service was held Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home.
