Alma M. Todd, 80

CLAIBORNE - Alma M. Todd, died on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, in Talbot Hospice House, Easton. She was 80. Born Sept. 7, 1928 in Linkwood, she was the daughter of the late James Percy and Nellie Virginia Mears May. She was a 1945 graduate of Cambridge High School. She worked as a medical receptionist in Cambridge and at the Easton Animal Clinic for over 35 years, retiring in the mid 1990's. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, crabbing, flower-gardening, sewing and cooking. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. Mrs. Todd is survived by her husband, Robert E. Todd, whom she married May 9, 1947; her daughter, Carolyn Todd Timms, of Easton; and one granddaughter, Valerie Ann Pinder. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009 at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., Easton, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
