Alberta Rebecca Stigall

Alberta Rebecca Stigall, 84 SNOW HILL - Alberta Rebecca Stigall, 84, of Snow Hill, died Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Crisfield, she was the daughter of the late Albert R. Howard and Agnes Matthews Howard. She was a charter member of God's Missionary Church for 43 years and a retired nurses assistant for the Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield. Her desire would be that she meet all of her family and friends in Heaven. She is survived by six children, a son, George E. Stigall and wife Cathy of Snow Hill, son, James S. Stigall and wife Vicki of Charlotte, Mich., daughter, Brenda A. Trader and husband Gary of Salisbury, daughter, Carolyn F. Morgan and husband Charles of Snow Hill, daughter, Judy M. Miller and husband Tony of Eden, and son, John A. Stigall and wife Sandra of Columbus, Ohio; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; five sisters, Virgie Johnson of Marion, Mildred Thomas of Glen Burnie, Viola Yoder of Westover, Dorothy Walls of Milford, and Mary Derr of Spartansburg, S.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Stigall; brother, James Howard; two half sisters, Pearl Taylor and Ida Cox Bell; two half brothers, Buddy Will Howard, and Harry Howard. A funeral service was held Wednesday, March 24, at God's Missionary Church in Delmar with interment following at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. There was a visitation on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday at God's Missionary Church. Rev. John Walter and Rev. Rob Dickens officiated. Memorial contributions can be made to God's Missionary Church Building Fund, 29424 Connelly Mill Road, Delmar, MD 21875.
