Agnes Lee Mitchell

DELMAR - Agnes Lee Mitchell died Friday, May 25, 2018, at her home, with her loving family gathered around. Born in Laurel, she was a daughter of the late Sirman and Lennie Marvel Cordrey.
She was a member of Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene for nearly 20 years, where she was a member of the church choir, taught Sunday school, went on Work and Witness trips and assisted with the Easter Journey. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Delmar, where she served as Sunday school superintendent and teacher and sang in the choir.
She is survived by her children, Pam Mitchell of Salisbury and Blair Mitchell of Delmar; a grandson; a sister, Ruth Ann Brumbley of Delmar; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 1987 by her husband, Paul James Mitchell; and her sisters, Eleanor Jones and Joyce Wolfgang.
A funeral service was held Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Cross Point Church of the Nazarene in Salisbury. Interment was at St. Stephen's Cemetery in Delmar. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home of Delmar.
