CRISFIELD — Shiloh United Methodist Church celebrates 141 years with anniversary events the weekend of Oct. 12-13.
The anniversary banquet with the theme “We’ve Come This Far by Faith” is 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Col. Woodrow T. Wilson Community Center at 119 S. Seventh Street. There will be preaching, a comedian, vendors and door prizes and the Rev. William Miles will be guest pastor. Tickets are $25 and may be reserved by calling 443-523-8164.
On Sunday, Oct. 13 the consecrated service is at 3 p.m. followed by the anniversary service at 3:30 at the church, 100 N. Fourth Street. The guest pastor is the Rev. Glendon A. Jones Jr. of New Psalmist Non-Denominational Church in Westover.
The Rev. Ervin Wallace Jr. is host pastor, everyone is welcome.
