Youth Vikings cheerleaders win

The 12U Dorchester Viking Cheerleaders competed successfully in New Jersey.

CAMBRIDGE — On Nov. 16 at the Cure Insurance Arena Center in Trenton, N.J. The Dorchester Viking Cheerleaders competed in the 2019 Big East Regional Cheer Championships. The Dorchester Vikings had two levels of cheer, Division 8 & Division 12.

1st Place - 8U DIVISION — coached by Chanere Christian, Ellena Walker, DeNiya Jones & Ke’Myra Jones.

Cheerleaders: Jai’Mira Brummell, A’Kia Meekins, Damajana Sampson, Ta’Liya Wicks, Kaydence Moore, Lyric Collins, Payton Elzey, Jaylah Jones, Ja’Kari Travers, Kei’Mora Jones, Taelyn Young, Stevie Starner, Katelynn Smith, Leah Jones, Kalyn Austin, Ma’Kaiyla Pinder, Myla Dockins, Brooklyn Copper, Ambrealla Fletcher, Journee Chester and Brooklyn Pinkett

2nd Place - 12U DIVISION — coached by Ellie Marshall, Shannon Proffitt, Jaleesa Young and Sha’Nyrah Purnell.
