CAMBRIDGE — For the ninth year, the Wednesday Morning Artists is presenting its holiday show and sale at the Dorchester Center for the Arts, 321 High St. in Cambridge. In the Gallery of Gifts shoppers are finding a myriad of unique, original art pieces that have been designed and priced for gift-giving. What’s new this year is that this long-standing, local art group has invited some of their most talented artist friends to join them in this show and sale. The artists have created wonderful and varied pieces for shoppers. Some of the gifts are for display on walls, tables and shelves. Some are for entertainment and some are for wearing. Included are ceramics and pottery, photos, mixed media, finger puppets, greeting cards, drawings, jewelry, stained glass, paintings, toys, silk accessories, weavings, paper art, fiber art, pillows, and mosaics. Gifts are available starting at $10 with many in the $25 to $35 range. The arts center benefits from sales. Artists taking part in the show include Heidi Wetzel, Ann Murdoch Geiger, Eileen Hebert, Michael McIntyre, Terry White, Carol Feierabend, Paul Winters, Sharon Stockley, Joyce Fritz Ritz, Maryette Dynan, John Dynan, Lisa Krentel, Anne Allbeury Hock, Deborah Coffin Kennedy, Jack Geiger, Jeanne Ewell, Joan Feierabend, Lois McKenzie, Marilyn Stone, Robert Manning, Cal Jackson, Fran Saunders, Janet Kerr, Jill Jasuta, John Kendz, Pam Decraecke, Ted Mueller, Wendy Rue, Damaris Bourland, Willa Klingensmith, Katherine Johnson, Maura Manley, and Pat Lowe. Shoppers can take items with them at the time of purchase, but the “shelves” are never empty because the artists are replenishing them regularly.
