BALTIMORE - William T. (Cottontail) Cottman, 75, passed away on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007 at the Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore.
He was born July 3, 1932, in Grasonville, son of the late Joshua and Madeline Thomas. He attended schools in Grasonville.
Mr. Cottman was a truck driver. He later moved to Cambridge where he lived for over 20 years. Then he moved to Baltimore, where he owned his own laundromat.
He loved hunting with friends and visiting his family.
He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews: Sarah Brown and Robert Jackson of Chester, Pa., Andrew Jackson and Francis Cooper, Maurine Askins, Brenda Mij, Phyllis Elliott and Patricia Elliott, all of Cambridge, Harvey Elliott of Sharptown and Robert Elliott of Trappe and a number of cousins and other relatives.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Boardley Funeral Home followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.
