Hurlock - William Eugene Tressler, "Bill", 59, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.

He was born on Dec. 21, 1948 in Hagerstown, the son of Floyd and Anna Mae Anderson Tressler of Hagerstown.

He served in the United State Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Koski Trucking as a mechanic for over 20 years. In his spare time he loved to tinker with old cars.

Besides his parents, he is survived by three sons, Dwayne Tressler of Marion, Pa., Kevin Tressler of Greencastle, Pa., and William R. Tressler of Federalsburg; a granddaughter, Ady Tressler; five brothers, Michael Tressler, Danny Tressler, Jim Tressler, Clyde Tressler, and George Tressler, all of Hagerstown; a sister, Linda Tressler of Hagerstown and several nieces, nephews, and three friends, Linda English, Leonard Washington, and Trudy Kruger.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Tressler.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans' Cemetery in Hurlock with the Rev. Anne Pruitt-Barnett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tressler Family, c/o Anna Mae Tressler, 300 South Mon Valia Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
