William A. Pusey

DELMAR - William A. Pusey, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Fruitland, he was a son of the late Roy and Fannie Twigg Pusey.
After graduating from Wi-Hi in Salisbury, he served in the U.S. Army. After his return to Salisbury, he began working in the poultry industry at Salisbury Milling, later to become Berlin Milling. He first started as a serviceman and finished his career as poultry supervisor at Townsends. He also worked part-time at Vernon Esham Homes. He was a member of Delmar Christian Center.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris Figgs Pusey; his daughter, Pamela K. Roberts; two granddaughters; three step-grandchildren; a sister, Irene Smith; brothers, Ralph, Gilbert, Kenneth and Thomas Pusey; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Interment was in St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
