A fire near the YMCA brought down a power line.

CAMBRIDGE - On Jan. 9 at 4:50 p.m., Cambridge Rescue Fire Company responded to a call regarding a utility pole fire at 7 Somerset Ave., near the Pauline F. & W. David Robbins Family YMCA.

The fire was extinguished with no injuries, though the YMCA closed for the rest of the day because electricity was cut. The facility reopened, with power, on Friday.
