Tickets being sold for C-SD High Class of 1988 35th reunion

Time can fly by fast. For many, 1988 seems like yesterday; for others, it’s an entire lifetime away. The Cambridge South Dorchester High School Class of 1988 alumni will get a chance to explore all of this and more in an exciting evening of high-class fun and friendship.

Charlene Jones and the reunion committee recently announced they would hold a CSDHS Class of 1988 35th Anniversary Reunion All-White-Sneaker Ball.

The ball is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 7, beginning at 6 p.m. at the American Legion, 98 Sunburst Hwy., in Cambridge. Tickets are available now.

“We really want all of our classmates to come,” said Tianne Ennals. “There are many people we want to reach whom we have no contact information for. Please help us spread the word and invite them.”

According to the reunion committee – which includes Johnette Travers, Faye Carson, Deirdre Avant, Jones and Ennals – the ball will have a 360 photo booth machine, catered food and a DJ. They recommend coming dressed to impress.

A special tribute will be included for any classmates who have passed away.

The committee asks graduates, friends and families if they have any information in that area to reach out so their loved one’s name can be mentioned at the event.

Early bird registration is $50 (available until May 31), regular registration is $55 (from June 1 to Aug. 31) and late registration is $60 (between Sept. 1 and Oct. 1).
