RELIANCE - Sue Delores Bennett, 92, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 at The Pines in Easton.

She was born June 18, 1914, in Dunbar, Pa., daughter of the late Adam and Susan Benya.

When her health permitted, Mrs. Bennett attended Our Lady of Lourdes in Seaford.

She is survived by two sons, George T. Bennett of Fairfield, Calif., and Lawrence Bennett of Crapo; three daughters, Alma Watson of Saxton, Pa., Catherine Horney of Cambridge and Susan Hoffman of Reliance; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Bennett, who died in 1968; two brothers; three sisters and one granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Secretary with the Rev. Anthony F. Greco as the celebrant. Serving as pallbearers will be Hubert Meekins, Matthew Meekins, Eddie Bennett, Larry Bennett Jr, Robbie Payne and Mike DeLisle. Burial will follow in East New Market Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to The Pines Genesis Healthcare, Resident Fund, 610 Dutchman's Lane, Easton, MD 21601.
