CAMBRIDGE – The numbers added up for the teams of high school juniors from Cambridge-South Dorchester and North Dorchester High Schools who took part in the recent Mid-Atlantic Mathematics Challenge at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

C-SD placed 2nd in the team challenge while NDHS came in 4th. C-SD students made a clean sweep of all competitors in the individual challenge with Devon Doll winning 1st place, Bryce Jones picking up 2nd, and a tie for the 3rd place spot between Jake Hurley and Brooke Windsor.

While visiting UMES for the competition, students had the opportunity to tour the new Engineering and Aviation Science Complex and explore academic programs offered by the university.
