CAMBRIDGE — Cambridge-South Dorchester High School (C-SDHS) senior Carrie Price and North Dorchester High School (NDHS) senior Tometeo Cruz-Cruz were presented the Rotary Club of Cambridge Student of the Semester Award for Spring 2019 at a recent luncheon.
The two students were introduced by their principals, Dave Bromwell C-SDHS and Lynn Sorrells NDHS. The principals spoke about the students’ academics as well as their involvement in school and in the community.
The Student of the Semester Award, which was first introduced in the spring of 2000, is given to a graduating senior who many times does not get recognized for the work they do to make the school and community better. The Award recipients are selected by the administration and guidance department of their school.
