EASTON ­- Sheila Ann Murray Bailey passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Easton Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was 59.

Sheila was born on August 30, 1948, in Cheverly, Md. She was educated in the Anne Arundel County School System, and graduated from Severna Park High School in 1966. Sheila's favorite time of year was Christmas. She enjoyed building doll houses, crocheting, especially afghan blankets, and was a superb typist. She loved her cats, and was always willing to take in strays and give them a loving home.

She is survived by her husband, Parker Roy Bailey, her parents, Ruth and Paul O'Brien of Denton, Md., a son, Frank Ryan, Jr., of Oregon, two brothers, Paul R. O'Brien of Dover, Del., and Daniel L. O'Brien of Pasadena, Md., one sister, Cynthia M. Johnson of Severna Park, Md,, two sisters-in-law, Judi O'Brien and Debbie O'Brien, one brother-in-law, Roger Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.

There will be a memorial service at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Nathan Sanders, Rev. Howard "Buddy" Dunn, Robert "Bob" Mackert and Bishop Raymond Parsons. Interment will be private.
